Budding Oak Twigs and Sapphire Drop Earrings in Sterling Silver

These oak bud and sapphire twig earrings are cast from my favourite oak tree in Little Tring, Hertfordshire. They were cast from an oak twig just before the leaves started to emerge. Each earring has three tube set 2mm fairtrade teal sapphires mounted around the twigs. The Sapphires are from Queensland Australia and are a beautiful blue-green shade. They have a marquise-shaped ear wires.

Each earring measures 21.7 mm from the top of the ring to the base of the twig and 6.5mm at its widest part at the bottom of the bud. The total drop is 3.6mm per earring Each weighs 4.5gms and are hallmarked by the London Assay Office.

The earrings come supplied in a stylish black cardboard box with my Notion logo embossed in silver on the lid.
