British jewellery designer

About me

It’s quite a jump from television current affairs to jewellery design, but life takes you down unexpected paths! Here is a brief history of the journey to my career in jewellery design.

I attended Tring Park School for Performing Arts leaving in the 1980’s to study graphic design at Amersham College of Art.  After completing my HDN I went on to work for ITN, Formula One and various other television companies for many years.

In 2016 my son returned from a trip to India laden with gemstones and silver jewellery, and I decided to have a complete change of career path! We both attended a silver class ,at the amazing Queen’s Park Centre in Aylesbury to learn more about it and I was hooked! I’ve made many friends at the centre, especially Susie Upstone, who is a very patient tutor and talented silversmith. About 6 months later, I applied for my Hallmark with the London Assay Office.

I have also been very lucky to be mentored by Lloyd Froud who is an amazing and genuinely talented Goldsmith. I am thankful to everyone who has helped me on my path, continually evolving my style and learning new techniques and skills.

I’m always open to new ideas and challenges so please message me if there is something you have in mind that you can’t find in my Shop.
